This policy explains what data is processed when you visit the personal portfolio site at furkantosun.com.tr. The site is a personal portfolio presenting the work of Furkan Tosun; no products or services are sold through it.

2. What data is processed?

The site has no contact form, accounts or comments; you are not asked to provide personal data. Analytics data is collected only with your consent, as described in section 4.

Server logs: For security and technical operation, the hosting provider may automatically log information such as IP address, browser type, the page visited and the time of the visit. These logs are not used for marketing or profiling.

3. When you contact me

If you write via email, WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn or Facebook, the information you share is used only to reply to your message and is not shared with third parties. On those platforms your data is also subject to each platform’s own privacy policy.

4. Cookies and Google Analytics

Necessary cookie: A language cookie may be used to remember your chosen language (Turkish / English). It is required for the site to work and does not need consent.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent): Google Analytics 4 is used to measure anonymously how the site is used. It is not loaded at all unless you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice. If you consent, Google Analytics collects information such as pages visited, visit duration, device and browser type, approximate location (city/country level) and the source of the visit, using cookies named _ga and _ga_* (for up to 2 years). Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Data is processed by Google LLC (USA); it is not used for advertising or personalisation, and data sharing with Google is turned off.

You can change your choice at any time: Change my cookie preferences. If you decline, analytics cookies are deleted. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

5. Third-party content

YouTube videos on project pages are not loaded until you press play, and they open in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Once you start a video, YouTube (Google) may process data under its own privacy policy.

Fonts and images are served from the site’s own server; no connection is made to external services such as Google Fonts. Google Analytics is loaded only after you consent.

6. Your rights

Under Article 11 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) and similar regulations, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, to request information about it, to learn the purpose of processing, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion where the legal conditions are met, and other rights listed in the law.
